Six teenagers have been re-bailed after a homeless man was assaulted in a Truro car park.

Police say the youngsters are still under strict curfews and location bans.

A seventh teen who was also arrested has now been released with no further action.

It comes after shocking video footage emerged online after the assault took place in the Moorfield car park last month.

Officers are still investigating what happened and are liaising with youth services and the Crown Prosecution Service.

Truro, Perranporth and Tregony Police posted on Facebook: "Police continue to investigate a serious assault on a man in Truro.

"Seven teenagers in total were arrested in connection to the assault in Moorfield Carpark on 12th February.

"One has since been released with no further policing action to be taken against them.

"The remaining six have since been re-bailed until Monday 9 and Tuesday 10 May.

"This will allow investigative officers to continue to liaise with Youth Services and the Crown Prosecution Service in relation to this case.

"Strict conditions, which includes curfews and location bans, remain in place for the six suspects who remain on police bail."
