Two seriously injured in A390 crash near Chiverton Cross
Both drivers were taken to hospital, where they remain receiving treatment
Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious two-vehicle collision on the A390 near Chiverton Cross, heading towards Truro.
Emergency services were called at approximately 1.45pm on Tuesday 18 November after reports of a collision involving a yellow Fiat Panda and a black Nissan Qashqai.
The drivers of both vehicles, a man in his 80s and a woman in her 70s, sustained significant injuries as a result of the crash.
They were taken to hospital, where they remain receiving treatment.
The A390 was closed for around four hours while specialist officers from the Roads Policing Team carried out a detailed examination of the scene and recovery teams removed the vehicles.
Police are now urging anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have relevant dashcam footage, to come forward.
