Two people rescued after house fire in Falmouth
Smoke was streaming from a three-storey property on Dracaena Avenue

Two people have had to be rescued by firefighters, following a house fire in Falmouth.
The blaze broke out in a three-storey property on Dracaena Avenue shortly after 1.30am this morning (Wednesday 12th October).
Crews arrived to find smoke streaming from the building and people still inside.
The casualties were quickly pulled from the lower ground floor and treated by paramedics.
Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service says the fire was out by 3.30am and everyone was accounted for.
They say the residents were alerted by a working smoke alarm and the cause was classified as accidental.
Statement from Cornwall FRS
"On receipt of this call, the incident was classified as 'Person Reported'. Two appliances from Falmouth and one from Tolvaddon were mobilised. On arrival, the crews confirmed that persons were reported and that there was smoke issuing from the property.
"Two persons were quickly rescued from the property by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus. An ambulance, which had already been requested, was confirmed to be required at the scene.
"The fire involves a three-storey detached property measuring 10 by 10 metres. The fire is located on the lower ground floor. Teams of firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are committed at this time with hosereel jets, main jets and thermal imaging cameras.
"Devon & Cornwall Police are in attendance and have closed the road".
"Update 03:30 hours: The fire has now been confirmed as extinguished and all persons are accounted for. Crews are remaining on scene at this time.
"The cause was classified as accidental.
"The occupants were made aware of by a working smoke alarm system in the property".

"Police were notified to a fire at an address on Dracaena Avenue in Falmouth at around 1.50am this morning, Wednesday 12th October.
"Officers assisted with a temporary road closure while emergency services attended the scene.
"No one was believed to be hurt in the incident and the incident was not believed to be suspicious".
