Two drivers hurt following 'serious injury crash' on A39 in Cornwall

Police are investigating what they have described a serious injury crash on Cornwall's A39.

Two drivers were injured when their vans collided near Penryn.

They were travelling in opposite directions between the Treluswell and Treliever roundabouts.

The road was closed in both directions for several hours.

Officers want to hear from anyone who saw something at around 5pm yesterday afternoon (Monday 15th February) or who might have dashcam footage.

"At around 5pm on Monday 15 February, a serious injury road traffic collision occurred on the A39 between Treluswell and Treliever roundabouts.

"The incident involved two vans that had been travelling in the opposite direction to each other.

"Both drivers sustained injuries as a result of the collision.

"Police are appealing for any witnesses who were not spoken to at the scene, or anyone with dashcam footage, to call 101 or email 101@dc.police.uk, quoting log number 673 of 15 of February".
