Two dogs have died after falling 200ft from cliffs in Cornwall and a third has been left injured.

Owner of the three labradors says it happened at Gwithian beach on Saturday.

Sasha the black lab managed to survive the fall but needs surgery so she can walk again.

Now a crowdfunding campaign has already raised over £3,000 to cover the costs of her vets bills.

"Hello everyone as you all know our 3 Dogs had a tragic accident on Saturday the 5th of September at Gwithian Beach.

"C vets located in Truro tried there very best to revive Ava as she fought her best to pull through but sadly to no avail and honey died on the scene.

"Miraculously Sasha the mother In the photo managed to survive and is still here today currently at the vets again.

"The pooches fell from Approx 200feet + and it’s taken some toll as you could imagine on the structure of leg.

"We are all so grateful we have the miracle dog still with us but Sasha does need to see a professional orthopeadic surgeon to fuse her leg to her shoulder joint so she can walk again and we can give her the best outcome in life possible.

"We would really appreciate any potential support as the unexpected funds are not available to us and we have paid out the maximum amount we have been able to gather within our family so far."
