Two more deaths and 427 cases of Covid recorded in Cornwall in 24hrs
Latest figures show parts of Camborne and Wadebridge have double the overall case rate for Cornwall

Official figures show the number of coronavirus cases in Cornwall increased by 427 in the last 24 hours and two more deaths were recorded.
A total of 49,862 people had been confirmed as testing positive for Covid-19 in Cornwall when the UK coronavirus daily dashboard was updated on October 13 (Wednesday), up from 49,435 on Tuesday.
Latest weekly figures show the Duchy recorded 2,896 new cases in the seven days to last Friday, giving us a case rate of 503.2 per 100,000 people.
Some areas have double the overall case rate for Cornwall, at 1,084.4 in Camborne East and 1,085.7 in Wadebridge.
Cornwall Council's Public Health Team has warned people that Covid has not gone away and residents and visitors are being urged to remain vigilant.
There were also two more coronavirus deaths recorded in the latest 24-hour period in Cornwall.
The dashboard shows 541 people had died in the area by October 13 (Wednesday) – up from 539 on Tuesday.
It means there have been four deaths in the past week, which is an increase on three the previous week.
They were among 7,456 deaths recorded across the South West.
The figures include anyone who died within 28 days of a positive test result for Covid-19, and whose usual residence was in Cornwall.
Daily death counts are revised each day, with each case backdated to the actual date of death.
The figures also show that more than three-quarters of people in Cornwall have received two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine.
The latest figures show 413,904 people had received both jabs by October 12 (Tuesday) – 78% of those aged 12 and over, based on the number of people on the National Immunisation Management Service database.
Across England, 78% of people aged 12 and above had received a second dose of the jab.
Unlike at local level, the national rate was calculated using mid-2020 population estimates from the Office for National Statistics.
