Two Cornish beaches have been named on TripAdvisor's list of best beaches in Europe, but Bournemouth has beaten us!

The stretch of sand in Dorset came 5th, putting it ahead of Porthminster in St Ives and Perranporth on the top-25 list.

We would respectfully disagree right?

Porthminster Beach in St Ives is among the top-25 beaches in Europe, according to TripAdvisor's Travelers' Choice Awards

Thousands of visitors flock to Porthminster every year - a beach well known for its golden sands.

Reviews have praised its "vibrant turquoise sea" and described it as "like being in Barbados".

It came 10th on the list of best beaches in Europe, with Perranporth coming in 16th place.
