Two arrests made in connection with serious assault in Helston
Police were called to Lady Street in Helston in the early hours of this morning
Two people have been arrested in connection with a serious assault in Helston.
Devon and Cornwall Police were called just before 3am this morning (Sunday 24th December) to reports of an assault in the Lady Street area.
The victim, a man in his 30s, was taken to Treliske Hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.
His family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
A 19-year-old woman and 19-year-old man from Helston have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and are in police custody.
Detectives are not looking for anyone else in connection to the incident, but they are looking for witnesses and more information.
