Truro's Women's Centre to close
The closure of the centre will result in the rehousing of remaining tenants

Truro Young Women's Centre offers accommodation and support support for homeless young women.
Westward Housing Group currently provide the service but have announced it will not re-tender the contract for the facility.
The current Homeless Support Service will therefore end on 31 March 2025.
A spokesperson from Westward Housing has said: "Our priority is to support our 3 remaining residents (down from 11) and the colleagues affected.
"Our team have been working closely with the young people supported by the service to help them transition smoothly to appropriate alternative accommodation.
"This hasn’t been an easy decision, but the current building will not be suitable to provide the service for the duration of a further contract.
"Despite our extensive efforts, we have been unable to secure alternative premises that meet the future needs of the service.
"Reaching this decision has been difficult, it is not the outcome we had hoped for."
