It'll be the first time since 2019

Truro's New Year's Eve fireworks are coming back - for the first time in three years.

The event was last able to take place in 2019, prior to the Covid-19 pandemic.

An earlier family display was introduced to allow children to join the celebrations - and that will also be taking place this time.

There will also be the traditional display at midnight.

Both displays will take place once again on Saturday 31st December, with the family event beginning at 7.30pm - you'll be able to see them from Lemon Quay.

Mayor of Truro, Cllr Steven Webb, said: “I am delighted to see the return of the New Year’s Eve Fireworks and I look forward to seeing our community celebrate together once again.

“I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors for their generosity and support.”
