Man 'attacked by group of youths' in Truro city centre

Police say he suffered a broken nose and a small stab wound

Police are investigating an assault after a man was 'attacked' in Truro city centre.

It is believed that an altercation took place at around 7:30pm on Tuesday 16th November outside the fish and chip shop on Lemon Quay.

The victim, a man in his 20’s was attacked by a group of youths and sustained a broken nose and a small stab wound.

Police arrested two men shortly after the incident and in total four 17-year-old boys have been interviewed under caution in connection to this matter; all have been released on police bail until 15th December.

Police are appealing for witnesses and would like to hear from anyone who was in the area and witnessed the assault.
