Truro Cathedral will be observing a one minute silence in memory of Prince Philip.
It will mark the start of the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral at 3pm on Saturday 17th April.
The cathedral's tenor bell will be tolled for 15 minutes, leading up to the beginning of the service.
A special eucharist to commemorate the Royal's life will be streamed live from the cathedral at 9am.
Truro Cathedral opened a book of condolence following the news of Prince Philip's death and that can be found here.
Speaking after his death, the Dean of Truro praised his 'unerring and wonderfully dutiful support' for Her Majesty the Queen.
"The death of Prince Philip brings into focus a life of extraordinary service, not only as a devoted and loyal consort to Her Majesty the Queen, but also for his commitment to the World Wildlife Fund and to young people with the Duke of Edinburgh's Award scheme.
"We owe him an enormous debt of gratitude and appreciation for a life of service and dedication".
