The family of a 23 year old man who died at a property in Truro last month say he had a "heart of gold.”

The death of Ison Alli, from Penzance, was reported at an address in the Polruan Road area of Truro on 29th October.

In a statement, Ison’s family said:

"Though your time with us was far too short, at 23, you had a heart of gold, showed such kindness, your humour and one-liners will forever be remembered," they said.

"You were irritating beyond measure, but you were so lovable.

"You had your struggles, but you still put everyone before yourself. You taught us to laugh freely and to care deeply.

"Your infectious smile, every crazy moment — will be a precious gift we carry forever.

"Life took you too soon, but love does not end.

"You live on in every song, every party, every heartbeat that remembers you.

"Ison, you will forever be our beautiful reason to believe in love that never fades."

Detectives are continuing their investigation into his death.

A 23-year-old man from Truro was arrested on suspicion of murder and has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
