Pictures are revealing the touching tributes left in a Cornish village, one week after the mass shooting in Plymouth.
Five people were killed when a gunman opened fire in Keyham, including Kate Shepherd.
The 66-year-old, who lived in Kingsand before moving to the city, suffered serious injuries but died in hospital.
Now flowers, candles and heartfelt cards have been laid at the clock tower in her memory.
Speaking to the BBC, Kate's friend Claire described her as a "very talented artist".
She said: "It has touched all of the hearts of the village. We are all feeling deeply sad and in shock".
One of the messages left at the clock tower in Kingsand reads: "Our Dearest Kate Shepherd, you are now with your lovely son Guy. May you rest in peace.
One card reads "sending love hope and prayers", while another describes her as a "truly wonderful and lovely lady".
On Wednesday night, five heart-shaped fireworks were set off at the British Fireworks Championships in Plymouth - one for each of those who lost their lives.
The event, which continues with a further tribute tonight (Thursday 19th August), has been dedicated to the victims and is encouraging the community to come together.
