Trawler rescued off Newlyn coast - as caution urged near coast during Storm Isha
Crews in Penlee say gusts of up to 80mph pose a "significant risk to safety"
Lifeboat crews are urging people to take "extreme caution" along the Cornish coast as Storm Isha hits the county.
It's after a beam trawler was rescued off three miles off the coast at Newlyn on Saturday after losing power in stormy conditions.
Penlee Lifeboat say they were called to the boat at 2:21pm after the conditions were too dangerous for other trawlers to assist.
The trawler eventually regained power and was escorted safely back to the harbour at 2:50pm.
Penlee Lifeboat say gusts of up to 80mph during Storm Isha pose a "significant risk to safety", and are urging people to take "extreme caution" along exposed cliffs, seafronts and piers.
Heavy rain and strong winds are expected by the Met Office on Sunday night.
An amber warning for wind - meaning there's a 'danger to life' - is in force from 6pm on Sunday until 6am on Monday.
There's warnings of damage to buildings, power cuts, and travel disruption across the county.
