Trapped casualty cut free after two-vehicle crash on Cornish peninsula

One person has had to be cut free after a crash on Cornwall's Roseland Peninsula.

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service says two vehicles collided at Ruan High Lanes on Thursday afternoon.

Crews from St Mawes, Truro and Tolvaddon were called, along with police and paramedics.

The casualty was left in the care of South Western Ambulance Service.

"Crews from St Mawes, Truro, Tolvaddon and a flexi-duty officer were mobilised to reports of a road traffic collision with a person trapped.

"Crews arrived to discover two vehicles involved and one person trapped.

"Crash rescue equipment was used to release one casualty into the care of South Western Ambulance Service.

"Devon and Cornwall Police also attended".

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service
