Trains suspended between Redruth and Penzance due to emergency services incident

Trains have been suspended between Redruth and Penzance as emergency services deal with an incident.

Great Western Railway has confirmed that there has been a delay to services.

They say the line has now reopened towards Penzance and train services are returning to normal.

But disruption is expected until 7pm this evening (15th February).

GWR says: "Following the emergency services dealing with an incident between Redruth and Penzance the line towards Penzance has now reopened.

"Impact: Train services running to and from these stations are returning to normal. Disruption is expected until 19:00 15/02."

"Customer Advice: First Kernow route T1: Penzance (Station) - St Erth (Station) - Hayle - Camborne (Bus Station) - Redruth (Station) - Truro are conveying passengers via any reasonable route until further notice."

As of 6.30pm there are still delays to services.
