Two teenagers will be sentenced in January in relation to an attack on a homeless man in Truro earlier this year.

The incident happened in Moorfield car park in Truro in February.

Three boys, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were facing trial today (Wednesday 30th November) charged with attempt to cause serious bodily harm with intent.

One of the teenagers admitted the charge when the case began yesterday, and a second boy was found guilty of the same charge today.

During the trial, the Judge described the incident as "despicable" and "appalling" and said the attack was "vicious and sustained".

In February, footage was first shared on social media that appeared to show the man being kicked in Moorfield car park. It happened between 10pm and 10.15pm on Saturday 12th February.

When discussing CCTV footage, the Judge said it was clear he had significant involvement in the attack telling the court: "It was with luck the man was not seriously injured".

A third teenager was found not guilty for the charge of serious bodily harm with intent.

The two boys, who cannot be named for legal reasons, will be sentenced in January.
