A teenage archer from Cornwall says she's set her sights on representing Great Britain at the 2028 Summer Olympics.

13-year-old Saffron Knowles has become part of Team GB's National Performance Pathway squad after being ranked in the top 20 archers under the age of 21.

Knowles appeared on the podium at every event in the Under 15 category at the Junior Archery Series last year, and also missed out on the title at the Junior Masters Final by one point.

The Truro High School for Girls say she hopes to compete for Team GB at the 2028 Games in Los Angeles.

Speaking to Pirate FM, Knowles said "it doesn't feel real" that she's joined the prestigious pathway.

"I used to look up to these people, but now I'm one of them, it still feels like I'm looking up to them."
