Teenage motorcyclist seriously injured in Falmouth

A 16-year-old motorcyclist is in hospital after suffering serious injuries in a collision in Falmouth.

The crash, involving a blue Ford Ranger 4x4 and a white 50CC motorcycle, happened at 8.35am on 17th December on the roundabout connecting North Road, Falmouth Road and Dracaena Avenue near McDonald’s.

Police said the injured motorcyclist, who is from Redruth, has had his next of kin informed.

A man in his 30s from Falmouth was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled drug but he has since been released under investigation.
