A surfer has hand delivered an invite for Tom Cruise to watch Top Gun in Cornwall.
Guy Hayler from Wavelength Media paddled out to the star's super-yacht after spotting it anchored off Newquay.
The luxury vessel has also been seen off St Ives and Marazion, sparking multiple rumours about what Mr. Cruise might be doing in the Duchy: Read more.
Guy had already been in touch with Paramount but heard nothing back.
He then decided to deliver the invite for Thursday's cliff-top screening at Watergate Bay, on the spur of the moment!
So, will we be seeing Tom Cruise on a Cornish cliff-top any time soon?
Guy tells us he has been emailing the crew since the drop-off and they seemed keen to 'feel the need for speed' (see what we did there?!)
Guy said: "I have heard back from the crew and there's definitely interest. The exciting bit is they did know about it. I was ready for them to say go away but I was well received".
