A pop-up coronavirus vaccination clinic is running in St Ives
Appointments for your jab must still be booked in advance though
A pop-up Covid-19 vaccination clinic is running at the St Ives Guildhall.
Vaccinators have joined forces with the town council to offer the service.
The Atlantic Medical Group is running the pop-up clinic at the St Ives Guildhall between 2pm and 5.30pm on Saturday 26th June.
Appointments for both first and second doses at the pop-up must be booked by logging on to the national NHS booking service, or calling 119 free of charge.
The pop-up clinic at St Ives is not a walk-in service and appointments for a COVID vaccination must be booked in advance through the national booking service.
To date vaccinators from the Atlantic Medical Group have given approximately provided 33,000 doses of the vaccine to people living in and around Penzance, including to fishermen and farmers at earlier pop-up clinics.
“We’re really pleased to be able to offer the pop-up clinic on Saturday as part of our continued efforts to make it as easy as possible for everyone in and around Penzance to have their COVID vaccination.
“We would like to extend our thanks to St Ives Town Council and Emma Gibson, cultural services manager, for working with us to get this service up and running so quickly.”
