Woman suffers serious injuries following crash in south east Cornwall

A woman has suffered serious injuries and has been taken to hospital following a crash in south east Cornwall.
Two vehicles were involved on the B3359 at Lanreath on Tuesday afternoon and emergency services were called to the scene.
Police say the casualty in her 60s was taken to Derriford Hospital where she was treated for her injuries.
The road was closed for around eight hours and officers are still investigating.
Anyone who saw what happened, or who has dashcam footage, is being asked to contact police.
A Devon & Cornwall Police spokesperson said: "Police investigating a road traffic collision near Liskeard on Tuesday 12th April are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
"Officers were called to reports of a collision involving two cars on the B3359 at Lanreath, Liskeard at around 4.15pm.
"As a result of the collision a local woman in her 60s sustained serious injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital for treatment.
"Emergency services attended the scene, and the road was closed for around eight hours as a result of the collision.
"Officers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision and are appealing for witnesses."
