Russel Brand has paid a visit to a weekend church fair in Cornwall.
The comedian popped by St Bartholomew's Church in Lostwithiel on Saturday (23rd April).
Volunteers were holding a foodshare event, to help local families struggling with the cost of food over the schools holidays.
Anna Maria Ingleby-Oddy was among those who met him, and said he was 'lovely'.
Russel even took a selfie with a group of the church volunteers.
Anna told us: "Russell was lovely and supporting the local fair at St Bartholomew's church!
"Our local church has a wonderful Reverend, Sheila, who opens the church every evening where my family, who are also in the photo, and some other 10 volunteers volunteer every evening running a foodshare to prevent foodwaste!
"The foodshare is open to everyone and people pay a donation. Every school holiday we buy local families that need some extra help a food shop the families are nominated by three local schools and it is normally 50-60 families.
"We are mainly supported by the Co-Op in Lostwithiel but also Aldi, Lidl and Asda in Bodmin. The foodshare is co-ordinated by Shelia and Antonia it would not be possible without the Reverend so we all support the church which hosts so many events.
"It was great to see Russell supporting the event he his wife and beautiful dog happily chatted to everyone."
