Prince Charles and Camilla to make royal visit to Mousehole
The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall will meet locals and community groups
It has been announced that the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall will be making a royal visit to Mousehole.
Prince Charles and Camilla will attend the Solomon Browne Hall on Monday (18th July).
Their Royal Highnesses will meet local people and community groups that use the hall, including volunteers from the hall and members of the Mousehole Archive Group and Cornwall Hugs Grenfell.
In 2019, The Duke of Cornwall’s Benevolent Fund made a donation to the Solomon Browne Hall.
Cllr Jonathan How, Mayor of Penzance, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Their Royal Highnesses to Mousehole and we hope that lots of local people will join us on the day to greet them."
Charles and Camilla last visited the Duchy in June, when they attended the second day of the Royal Cornwall Show.
The couple enjoyed the Grand Parade of Livestock and His Royal Highness also made the presentation to the 2021 and 2022 winners of his own award, The Duke of Cornwall's Award for Farm Diversity.
This year Prince Charles is celebrating 70 years as The Duke of Cornwall, a position he has held since Her Majesty The Queen ascended to the throne in 1952.
