FIRST Royal Cornwall show since the pandemic in pictures and video

The 2022 event saw everything from food and farming to a Royal visit!

The first Royal Cornwall Show since the pandemic is not one anyone who visited will forget in a hurry, after experiencing everything from food and farming to royalty!

Organisers told us they were expecting around 110,000 visitors to descend on the site near to Wadebridge and although we will not know the exact figures until next week, they say it has been a good one.

The visit from Prince Charles and Camilla has been described as one of the highlights for the 2022 event.

The couple toured various trade stands, including cider producers, the flower tent, Cornwall Air Ambulance and the dog show.

On the same day Prime Minister Boris Johnson made an unannounced visit to the show, and met with MPs.

He is said to have arrived to cheers and jeers, before asking his team: "What next - a Cornish pasty?"

Other crowd-pleasers included stunt motocross riders Bolddog FMX and the Shetland Pony Grand National.
