The areas in Cornwall which have coronavirus 'clusters' have been revealed.

The latest Government Covid-19 cluster map shows the areas which are currently affected in the Duchy.

The data is from the week of the 21st to 27th September and shows positive cases by Middle Super Output Area (MSOA) in England.

You can find the interactive cluster map here.

Areas which currently have clusters with higher numbers include Kingsand, Antony & Maryfield, Roche & Goss Moor, Camborne South and also Pool & Illogan Highway.

As of 9am on 1st October, Public Health England figures show that 1,383 people had been confirmed as testing positive for Covid-19 in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

The health body is now including Pillar 2 tests – those carried out by commercial partners – alongside Pillar 1 tests, which are analysed in NHS or PHE laboratories and which made up the first stage of the Government's mass testing programme.

The rate of infection in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly now stands at 242 cases per 100,000 people, far lower than the England average of 700.
