A barbers in Truro has told us they are hoping for the 1m rule to be brought back 'as soon as possible', as Stage 2 of the roadmap out of lockdown begins.

Speaking during Boris Johnson's visit to Truro last week, Vanessa Tyler, who owns Lemon Heads, said they are 'very limited on space'.

"We all need to get back earning money because we can't survive without it.

"There's a lot of small businesses out there that are finding it very difficult at this time and they're all looking forward to getting back to work.

"And hopefully, the economy in this country is going to have a bumper season if we all shop local.

"We have three staff that are ready to start on Monday full-time, but we're very limited on how much space we have.

"So the sooner that Boris can reduce the restriction down to 1m then we can have all three staff running at the same time".
