UPDATE: Trystan has now been found safe by police

Police say a missing young man from Bude has travelled out of Cornwall.

Officers are widening the search for 22-year-old Trystan Harris, who was last seen on Tuesday lunchtime.

CCTV footage and phone data shows the young man was at Totnes Station at around 7pm on Wednesday evening.

Devon and Cornwall Police say Trystan will seem confused if approached and concerns are growing for his welfare.

The force is urging anyone who sees him to call 999 straight away.

In an updated statement, police said: "Police are widening the appeal to locate a missing person from Bude.

"Officers are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of 22-year-old Trystan Harris, who has been reported missing from Bude.

"He was last seen in the Kings Hill area at around 1.30pm on Tuesday 29th March.

"Phone use appears to show that Trystan has travelled out of the area and into Totnes; it is believed he may have been in the area of Totnes Train Station at around 7pm yesterday evening (Tuesday 29 March).

"Trystan’s appearance is different from that shown in his appeal image; he has shaggy, recently bleached blond hair and is wearing a ripped grey hoody and black jogging trousers. He is around 6ft tall, very skinny and has a thin-looking face.

"Officers say he will appear confused if approached.

"If you have seen Trystan or know of his whereabouts, please call police immediately on 999, quoting log number 313 of 29 March".
