Police statement on reports of dogs being poisoned in Cornish woods
Officers in Wadebridge say no incidents have been reported to them or local vets

Police have addressed reports of the possible poisoning of six-seven dogs at woods in north Cornwall.
Officers in Wadebridge say they are aware of reports circulating on social media, relating to Hustyn Woods, St Breock.
However, as of Wednesday, they confirmed no incidents have been reported to them or local vets.
They added that while Forestry England had also seen the reports, they have no confirmed cases either.
The Wadebridge Neighbourhood Policing Team is urging people to report any incidents such as these via 101 or webchat.

Posting on their Facebook page on Wednesday, PCSO Pete Sobye said: "There have been reports circulating on Facebook in relation to the possible poisoning of 6/7 dogs at Hustyn Woods, St Breock.
"Wadebridge Police can confirm that as of today, we have received no calls or recorded any crimes in relation to this matter.
"As such, we have no one in custody, or 'helping with any enquiries'.
"I have spoken with a local Veterinary surgery today, and they confirm that they have also heard the rumours but no dogs have been brought in for treatment locally, or reported to them.
"Forestry England have also seen the reports but have no confirmed cases.
