Police investigating Truro stabbing appeal for help to identify two men

Officers believe they may be able to help with enquiries

Police are appealing for help identifying these men (pictured above) as part of their investigations into a stabbing in Truro.

Emergency services were called to reports of a serious assault in St Austell Street shortly before 5pm on Saturday (17 August).

Two people suffered stab wounds in the street. A 31-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man were taken to hospital with serious injuries. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

A 42-year-old man from Truro was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm without intent. He has since been released on police bail.

Investigating officers are keen to identify the two men pictured, as it is believed they may be able to help with enquiries.
