Police to hold drop-in roadshows on how G7 Summit will impact Cornwall

Information events are being held in St Ives, Carbis Bay, Lelant, Hayle, Newquay and Falmouth over the next week

Police are holding a series of drop-in roadshows ahead of the G7 Summit in Cornwall.

The events will offer more information on everything from security to road closures and restrictions.

Officers will be there to talk to concerned residents and printed information will be available too.

There will also be guidance on using the G7 Policing Website for up-to-date information.

The roadshows are being held in the St Ives area, Hayle, Newquay and Falmouth over the next week.

Where are the roadshows being held?

St Ives, Lelant and Carbis Bay:

Monday 24 May: St Ives Harbour 9am - 1130am, Ayr Field (Ayr Terrace) 1.30pm - 4:00pm

Wednesday 26 May: Dobbies Garden Centre, Lelant 6:00pm - 8.30pm

Thursday 27 May: Trenwith car park 9am - 11.30am, Tesco 1.30pm - 4pm

Friday 28 May: Tesco 9:00am - 11.30am

Saturday 29 May: Tesco 9am - 11.30am, St Ives Harbour 1.30pm - 4:00pm

Sunday 30 May: Carbis Bay Memorial Hall 9am - 11.30am, Trenwith Car Park 1.30pm - 4:00pm

Hayle:

Tuesday 25 May: Lidl 9:00am - 11.30am

Tuesday 25 May: Asda 1.30pm - 4:00pm

Friday 28 May: Marks and Spencer 1.30pm - 4:00pm

Newquay:

Wednesday 26 May: St Mawgan Village Post Office 9:00am - 11.30am
