Police appealing for witnesses after report of assault in Penzance

Devon and Cornwall Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a report of assault in Penzance.

Officers were called by the ambulance service to a report of an assault in Market Place at around 3.40am this morning (Sunday 16 June).

A local man in his 20s has been taken to hospital after sustaining serious head injuries.
