Man wanted in connection with alleged harassment in Cornwall

Police investigating alleged harassment in Cornwall have issued an appeal to find a wanted man.

They want to trace Rhys Philpin, who is originally from Bodmin but now lives in Tottenham in London.

Officers say the 24-year-old is known to frequent the north Cornwall town on a regular basis, particularly the Kinsman estate.

Philpin is 5ft 9 and described as slim with short, dark hair.

He is also sought in connection with an alleged breach of a restraining order and people are being urged not to approach him if they see him.

Anyone with information is being urged to contact Devon & Cornwall Police via 101, or to call Crimestoppers anonymously.

A force spokesperson said: "Police are appealing for the public's help to trace a 24-year-old man who is wanted in connection with an investigation into alleged harassment in Cornwall.

"Rhys Philpin, originally from Bodmin but now living in Tottenham, London, is also sought in connection with an alleged breach of a restraining order.

"Extensive enquiries have failed to locate him and officers are now appealing to the public to report any sightings or provide information as to his whereabouts.

"Philpin is white, around 5ft 9ins tall, and of slim build. He has short dark brown hair.

"He is known to frequent Bodmin on a regular basis, particularly the Kinsman Estate.

"Anyone who sees Philpin, or knows of his whereabouts, is asked to not approach him and to call police on 101, quoting reference CR/044393/22.
