Police are appealing for dashcam footage following a serious injury crash on a main road to Newquay.
They have confirmed a biker was rushed to Derriford after his motorbike and a car collided on the A3075 at Penhallow.
The incident happened just after 11am on Wednesday (22nd June), and the road was closed for several hours.
Officers from the Roads Policing Team carried out an investigation at the scene and are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Anyone who saw what happened or who has any information or dashcam footage is asked to contact Devon % Cornwall Police via 101.
In a statement, the force said: "Police investigating a road traffic collision on the A3075 at Penhallow are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
"Officers were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a motorbike at around 11.05am, on Wednesday 22nd June.
"One person, the male motorcyclist, was taken to Derriford Hospital with serious injuries. His next of kin have been informed.
"The road was closed while officers from the Roads Policing Team conducted an examination of the scene.
"The police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information or dashcam footage which may have captured either vehicle prior to the collision that could help the police with their enquiries.
