Police issue appeal after 'serious incident' in Falmouth

Devon & Cornwall Police have issued an appeal to help them identify the man pictured, after reports of a serious incident in Falmouth.

Officers say the incident was reported in the area of Mulberry Passage and the High Street, in the early hours of Saturday morning (6th August).

They have not released further details at this stage, except to confirm it happened between 3.25am and 3.45am.

Police think the man shown in the images they have released may be able to help with their enquiries.

Anyone who recognises him or who has any relevant information is being asked to contact the force via 101.

In a statement, the force said: "Police investigating a report of a serious incident in Falmouth have released pictures of a man they would like to speak to in connection with it.

"The incident happened between 3.25am and 3.45am on Saturday 6th August in the area of Mulberry Passage and the High Street, Falmouth.

"Officers would like to identify the man pictured as they believe he may be able to assist with their enquiries.

"Please call police with information on 101, or via our website here, quoting crime reference CR/070750/22".
