Police appeal to find the injured biker who left scene of crash in west Cornwall on foot

Police are trying to find the injured biker who left the scene of a crash in west Cornwall on foot.

The collision happened on the A394 near Marazion on Thursday afternoon (September 2nd).

Anyone who saw something between the Turnpike and Newtown roundabouts is being urged to come forward.

Devon and Cornwall Police are also appealing for any dashcam footage that might show the rider leaving the area.

In a statement, the force said: "At approximately 1449 hours on Thursday 2nd September, police were notified of a road traffic collision on the A394 Marazion between Turnpike roundabout and Newtown roundabout.

"The collision involved a Blue Motorcycle.

"As a result of the incident the rider has left the scene on foot with injuries.

"Officers from the Roads Policing Team and Serious Collision Investigation Team are appealing for witnesses or any person(s) that may have dashcam that captured a person leaving the immediate area to come forward, quoting log number DCP-20210902-0518".
