Police issue call 999 appeal after man goes missing in Looe

After issuing a call 999 appeal, Devon & Cornwall Police have confirmed a missing man has been found safe.

33-year-old Terry Ray had previously not been seen since being sighted in the Looe area.

Officers had said concerns were growing for his safety, however they have now confirmed he has been located.

In an updated statement, the force said: "Terry Ray, 33, who had been reported missing from the Looe area yesterday, Sunday 11th September, has been found safe by police.

"We would like to thank members of the public for their help".
