UPDATE: Missing Mark Purtill's family have confirmed "he's home".

Police have issued an urgent appeal to find a man missing in south-east Cornwall.

Mark Purtill from Liskeard was last seen at around 3pm on Monday 28th June.

The 41-year-old is understood to have left home in the morning, with just his wallet and possibly a couple of bags.

Mark is described as tall, tanned and slim with short dark hair and a stubbly beard.

Devon & Cornwall Police say he may have been wearing a mechanic style jacket.

Officers are urging anyone who sees Mark or thinks they know where he might be to call 999 straight away.

Devon & Cornwall Police said: "Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Mark Purtill from Liskeard.

"The 41-year-old was last seen at around 3pm today, Monday 28 June, in the town centre.

"He is described as a white male with tanned skin, around 6ft in height, of slim build, with short dark hair and a stubbly beard. He may be wearing mechanic style clothing with a jacket.

"If you see Mark please phone 999 immediately, or if you think you know of his whereabouts please contact police on 101 or via email at 101@dc.police.uk quoting log 470, 28/6/21".
