Police appeal after serious hit and run in Cornwall

A woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a hit and run in Cornwall.

Emergency services were called to Hendrawalls Lane, Davidstow, near Camelford at around 8.15am on Saturday 29 June.

It followed reports that a female pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle.

Police say the vehicle failed to stop at the scene of the crash and has not been located.

Officers are asking witnesses who they have not yet spoken with to phone on 101, or make contact via the Devon and Cornwall Police website, quoting log reference 201 29th June 2024.
