British Fireworks Championships back with a bang in Plymouth
This year's finalists must include a nod to the Queen's Platinum Jubilee

It's all eyes on the skies over Plymouth as it hosts the 25th British Fireworks Championships.
Six finalists will put on displays on Wednesday and Thursday nights which, this year, have to include some form of nod to the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
Councillor Pat Patel is one of the judges and told us the two-day event is very competitive: "The winning of it for the company is phenomenal. They must get a lot of work out of it because they are the champion of champions if you like.
"The height, the breadth of the display and no gap between the fireworks going off - so there's always something up in the sky!
"Don't forget this goes out all over and not only that, people record it themselves and stream it themselves to all their friends and families so I would hate to hazard a guess as to how many millions will actually be watching this - not only in this country but around the world as well".
Everything you need to know about the British Fireworks Championships, can be found on the official website.
