Man denies murder following death of woman in Cornish village

A man has pleaded not guilty to murder following the death of a woman in a Cornish village.

Emergency service were called to Charlotte Close in Mount Hawke on Tuesday 1st June.

48-year-old Michaela Hall was found dead at the property.

Devon and Cornwall Police charged Lee Kendall with murder two days later.

The 42-year-old, from Charlotte Close, appeared before Plymouth Crown Court today (28th June) to enter his plea and was remanded in custody.

A trial is due to start at Truro Crown Court of 17th January 2022 and is expected to last two weeks.
