Person seriously injured after crash in Cornwall

A passenger of a car involved in a crash in Cornwall has suffered potentially life-changing injuries.

Emergency services were called to the A3083 near Cury Cross Lanes on Tuesday evening.

A driver fled the scene before being detained.

A man in his 20s from Chesham was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst unfit through drink, driving whilst disqualified and causing serious injury by danderous driving. He has been released on bail.
