Person rescued from building fire in Penzance
Seven fire engines were sent to the scene
Fire crews have been tackling a blaze at a residential building in Penzance overnight.
Teams were called to New Street in the early hours of this morning (Friday 27 October).
Seven fire engines from Penzance, St Just, St Ives, Hayle and Tolvaddon were in attendance, along with the Incident Command Unit from St Just, and Operational Support Unit from Falmouth.
One person, who was suffering from smoke inhalation, was rescued from the property.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue said the fire was confirmed to be out at around 3.20am.
