Person killed after serious crash on A38

Four others were taken to hospital for injuries

A person has died after a serious crash on the A38 Glynn Valley between Bodmin Parkway Train Station and The Halfway House.

Police, fire, ambulance and Cornwall air ambulance crews attended the scene Sunday 28th April.

Three people were taken to Treliske Hospital to be treated for their injuries.

One person was taken to Derriford Hospital and is in a critical condition, and one person died at the scene. The next of kin of all parties are aware.

Officers from Devon and Cornwall Roads Policing Team attended the incident and carried out a detailed investigation of the scene.

Police are appealing for witnesses with dash cam footage or information, following a serious road traffic collision to call 101 and reference 293 or contact police via their website.
