Penryn café destroyed by fire

A café has been destroyed in a fire which broke out in Penryn earlier this morning.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service were called to Cafe on the Quay, on Commercial Road, shortly before 7.30am this morning.
Two appliances from Falmouth Fire Station were mobilised along with a Wholetime Station Manager from Truro.
In total 2 hose reel jets, 1 safety jet and 1 covering jet were used.
Crews requested assistance from Devon & Cornwall Police and National Grid to help safely resolve the incident.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service says the cause is undetermined at this time and a full fire investigation will be carried out by specialist officers tomorrow.
