Pedestrian airlifted to hospital following crash in north Cornwall village

A pedestrian has been airlifted to hospital following a crash in village in north Cornwall.
Police and paramedics were called to Kilkhampton, not far from Bude, on Thursday lunchtime (3rd February).
Officers say a woman and a vehicle were involved in the collision.
She suffered serious injuries and has been taken to Derriford in Plymouth.
A spokesperson for Devon & Cornwall Police said: "We received reports of a collision between a vehicle and a female pedestrian in The Square, Kilkhampton, at around 12.35pm today (Thursday 3rd February).
"Paramedics also attended and the pedestrian has been airlifted to Derriford Hospital with serious injuries."
At the time Inrix Traffic and Travel reported the A39 was partially blocked, with queueing traffic.
