Drivers urged to take care on new A30 roundabout between Chiverton and Carland Cross
It is a temporary addition as works to dual the bottleneck continue

Drivers are being urged to take care on a new temporary roundabout which has been built during works to dual a major bottleneck on Cornwall's A30.
The junction at Chybucca has been changed following a weekend of road closures between Chiverton Cross roundabout and the Boxheater junction.
The closure caused disruption between Friday night and Monday morning but the stretch between Chivvy and Carland Cross is now open again and traffic is flowing well.
Officials say the newly installed temporary roundabout will maintain the flow of traffic ahead of construction of the new Chybucca interchange.
John Green is from Costain, who are carrying out the works. He told us: "I'm well aware of the issues associated with it, but I can assure everybody who is travelling on this road, who lives here, who works here, that we are doing our very best to minimise disruption to all road users including the agricultural community as well, in order to keep things moving whilst we build the road, there is a lot of work going on.
"For everybody now approaching the new temporary Chybucca roundabout, please approach it with caution, it's a new set up but it is just a roundabout, the fact that we've become used to Chybucca junction as it was for many years, that has changed, we would just ask people to approach it as you would approach any other piece of new road.
"This year we expect again a large influx of visitors and the plan would be to minimise the disruption as best we could, by not having the road closures if we can avoid it, thereby ensuring that as best we can, everybody who visits this wonderful part of the world will enjoy their visit with as little disruption and delay as possible."
In the autumn, a full weekend closure of the A30 will also be implemented for the installation of a new bridge, and demolition of the Tolgroggan bridge near Zelah.
The £330 million upgrade is scheduled to be open to traffic in winter 2023 and further information on the scheme can be found at https://highwaysengland.co.uk/projects/a30-carland-cross-to-chiverton/
The cost of developing the scheme is being partly funded by an £8 million contribution from the European Regional Development Fund, with an additional £12 million for the construction phase. The remainder of the cost of developing and delivering the scheme is being funded by central Government.
