A new artwork has been created in Bodmin in tribute to all our key workers, volunteers and the NHS.

The painting on the side of the Garland Ox pubs shows an NHS superman combatting coronavirus.

It has been created by local Harry Maddox as a special thank you message and 'love letter' for all the hard work through the pandemic.

The original mural he created in the town was vandalised last month when anti-vaccination messages were graffitied over the top.

Now the new creation has been unveiled on Higher Bore Street.

Posting on Facebook, Harry said: "Some of you will already have seen the new 'Love letter to the NHS' on the side wall of the Garland Ox, well the scaffold is now down and you can see it in all it's glory.

"This version gave me the opportunity to add a thanks to all the volunteers who did such an amazing job throughout.

"Thanks to Emma, Shannon and Alan for letting me paint on their wall, and thanks to Tyrone at DSL for the Scaffolding, I hope you like it."
