New campaign by New Look Truro to keep young people safe
They're working with Cornish-based charity CLEAR to provide a 'safe space'

A shop in Truro is acting as a safe space for young people in the city.
The city's New Look have launched a new campaign, where any young person feeling at risk can ask a member of staff for help, or if they need to do so discretely, they can ask the question, 'is my sister working today?’.
This will signal to the staff that they need help and to take the young person off the shop floor to a safe space and call for support.
The #ismysisterworkingtoday campaign is a collaboration between New Look and CLEAR, a Cornish based charity that supports children, young people and adults impacted by abuse and other emotional trauma.
It's also part of the Safer Streets programme, which aims to tackle anti-social behaviour and violence against women and girls in and around Truro.
Elaine Wrigley, Head of People Experience and Inclusion at New Look said: "We are delighted to be able to provide Truro customers with a new ‘safe space’.
"Supporting our local communities is important to New Look and this initiative further underpins our commitment to our customers and the community as a whole.
"We would like to thank CLEAR for all their support and encouragement in bringing this campaign to life."
Rachel Jones, CLEAR Business Development Manager said: "Good luck to New Look Truro with this exciting and much needed new initiative.
"We are pleased to have worked with the New Look team on this campaign and to support them to develop the skills required to recognise and call out negative behaviour, to act safely and to support a young vulnerable person.
"Part of CLEAR’s mission is to help prevent abuse from occurring and our training, information and awareness raising is a key part of this."
